Our Program
Learn about who we are as a program. Learn about our mission, our vision, our values, our goals and our history.
There’s never been a better time to be a genetic counselor. Opportunities abound in any number of university, hospital, laboratory, research and industry settings. With a master's in genetic counseling, you’ll be ready for the workforce and a challenging, rewarding health professional career in one of the most dynamic areas of medicine.
For forty years, the USC School of Medicine Columbia’s Genetic Counseling Program has trained nearly 275 professionals whose compassion and expertise continue to shape genetic care. To honor this legacy and invest in the future, we invite you to join Passing It On — a 40-day campaign to raise $14,400 in support of scholarships, endowment growth, and educational innovation. With giving levels that reflect key milestones in our journey, every gift helps ensure the next 40 years of impact are just as powerful as the first.
