Brett Sherman, an associate professor of philosophy, has been awarded the universitiy's
most prestigous award for teaching! The Michael J. Mungo Distinguished Professor of the Year award is given annually to an
outstanding teacher of undergraduate studies.
His teaching is described as using supportive and interactive techniquies to encourage
understanding of complex philosophical concepts and ideas. He inspires students to
pursue deeper inquiries, and supports them throughout every step of the way.
