The University of South Carolina will be closed December 24, 2025 - January 1, 2026 for the holidays. If you are a student experiencing an emergency while the university is closed, please contact the USC police department at 803-777-4215 for assistance. The Office of Student Advocacy will open the excused absence/missed coursework form and university concern form on January 2 when the university reopens for students to access.

Notary Public Services

Make an appointment for free notary public services for students.  Notary Public Services ensures important documents are signed correctly and willingly. A notary checks your ID, witnesses your signature, and then adds their stamp to show it's official.
