Additional Information specific to the BSN program:
Transfer applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher to qualify for admission to the Pre-Nursing major.
The following courses are pre-requisites for NURS 216: BIOL 243/L, CHEM 102, BIOL 244/L.
NURS 112 & NURS 208 are typically taken during a student’s first year in the program. Transfer students should plan to take these courses in their first year at USC.

**In Resident Requirement: The last 25% of a student’s degree must be completed in residence at the University of South Carolina, and at least half of the hours in the student’s major course and in the student’s minor courses (if applicable) must be taken at the University.
