What's your favorite thing about Columbia?
I love that there is something for everyone in Columbia! There is always something going on for you to do. Some of my favorite things are walking around Williams Bryce Stadium, going to Soda City on the weekend, and trying new sweet treat spots.
What are your hobbies or things you like to do?
My favorite things to do are going for walks and spending time at the beach, lake or a pool. I grew up not too far from the beach, so I love having beach days.
What has surprised you the most about Nursing school?
One thing that surprised me the most about Nursing school is how supportive everyone you meet is. There is always someone in your corner and you have a support system to lean on.
What is an accomplishment in college that you are very proud of?
One of my biggest accomplishments in college is being on Dean’s list every semester so far! I’ve worked hard to maintain my grades and I am proud that my effort is paying off.
Why did you choose USC?
I chose USC because of the feeling that I had on my first campus tour. USC’s beautiful campus, school spirit, and top nursing program made me fall in love and gave me a feeling that no other campuses gave me.
What advice would you give incoming students?
I would say to celebrate even your smallest accomplishments and to not compare yourself to your peers. College is not supposed to be easy and is different for everyone!
