Young Alumni Board

The Young Alumni Board was created to deepen the connections between recent graduates and the school by promoting social and networking opportunities in an effort to build a culture of robust involvement and philanthropy.

The board plans networking opportunities throughout the year.

The board challenges every Moore School young alumni to support the Moore School. Every dollar and every donor makes an impact. Participate with us and help us reach our goal of at least 300 young alumni donors. Give today!

Become a Young Alumni Board Member

The Young Alumni Board of the Darla Moore School of Business was established in 2014.  The board seeks to better serve and support our recent graduates with activities and communications that motivate young alumni to connect, engage and invest with the Moore School.

Young alumni eligible for new membership will have received a degree from the Moore School, and are 40 years of age or younger, as of July 1, 2025.

  • To promote the social, professional, philanthropic, and service interests of recent alumni.
  • To foster closer interaction with the greater Moore School community.
  • To facilitate continued improvement of the Moore School and its educational missions through service and support of specific initiatives.
  • To advise the school’s leadership on key initiatives.
  • To educate current students and recent alumni about goals, purposes, projects and services of the Moore School.
  • To increase philanthropic support of the Moore School.
  • Attend two mandatory meetings (fall and spring) on campus at your own expense.
  • Participate in the board projects.
  • Financially support the Moore School on an annual basis.
  • Attend Moore School alumni events.
  • Actively participate in Young Alumni Board programs and initiatives.
  • Participate as a mentor in the Moore School Mentor Program once a year over your three year term.

Each member of the Young Alumni Board will be expected to support the Moore School with a $250 annual gift.  Each year, the goal is for the council to reach 100% participation in annual giving.

Applications for the 2025-2026 Young Alumni Board are now closed.
