Dean's Global Classroom Award

This award is designed to provide full-time HRSM students with an opportunity to participate in the college’s study abroad opportunities with financial assistance toward program fees.

Application Requirements

  • Student must:
    • be in good standing (academic and conduct)
    • be enrolled full-time in any HRSM degree awarding program at the time of application and during participation in program-related travel
    • have 2.50 GPA for undergraduate students (3.0 GPA for graduate students)
    • have not previously received the Dean's Global Classroom Award
  • Preference will be given to students who would be unable to participate in global classroom without this award and those with no international experience.
  • Recipients are responsible for all program-related expenses not covered by HRSM program fees.
  • Awardees must notify Emily Metz at emetz3@sc.edu of their intent to accept or decline the award. Declined awards will be re-issued to other qualifying applicants where possible. Students who accept the award but do not complete the program will reimburse the college for non-recoverable costs.
