Award Amount: $500-$1,500
Eligibility: Any Honors College student participating in a semester long experience abroad in a non-European country, or a country that qualifies as a “middle,” “lower middle,” or “low” income country according to the most recent data from World Bank’s GDP per capita index. Preference will be given to an Honors student who is a first-generation college student, or that has never been abroad before, who demonstrates academic excellence and financial need, has submitted a FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid and who is in good standing with the Honors College and the University.

Eligibility: Any Honors College student majoring or minoring in French, who has the desire to participate in a summer or semester long experience abroad. It is the donors’ preference that the recipient be a student who has the desire to be an educator of French and who has studied abroad in France for at least one semester, with a preference for an academic year abroad to foster the scholar’s immersion in the French culture. Preference will be given to those student(s) demonstrating academic excellence and financial need, those that have submitted a FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid and those who are in good standing with the Honors College and the University.

Eligibility: Any Honors College student majoring in the Darla Moore School of Business who will be participating in a summer, semester or year long experience abroad through the University of South Carolina. Preference will be given to those student(s) demonstrating academic excellence and financial need, those that have submitted a FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid and those who are in good standing with the Honors College and the University.

Eligibility: Any Honors College student participating in a summer or semester long experience abroad. Eligibility: Any Honors College student who has demonstrated a mid-level language proficiency, and who will be participating in a semester long experience in a country where that language is native tongue. Preference will be given to those student(s) demonstrating academic excellence and financial need, those that have submitted a FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid and those who are in good standing with the Honors College and the University.
