National Fellowships and Scholar Programs
The USC National Fellowships and Scholar Programs (NFSP) exists to support students in investigating and applying for national fellowships—merit-based, nationally-competitive competitions that offer students funding from outside the University of South Carolina.
There are many competitions that are appropriate for Engineering and Computing students, such as the Goldwater Scholarship, the Department of Defense’s Science, Math, and Research for Transformation Scholarship, and National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates to name a few. The NFSP offers workshops and one-on-one advising throughout the semester.
Visit the NFSP website for more details on how to get started.
