I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina.

Before joining USC, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor (2023 - 2025) and Postdoctoral Scholar (2021 - 2023) at the University of California, Irvine.

I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2021 and received my B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China (2016).

My research focuses on uncovering the fundamental principles of cellular organization and communication through the lens of mathematical modeling and computational analysis, which includes:

  1. Inference of cell-cell communication and cell fate dynamics using single-cell data and machine learning methods.
  2. Spatio-temporal modeling of the circuit-driven pattern formation.
  3. Data-driven predictive modeling in oncology (tumor growth, heterogeneity, and treatment response).

Courses: Math 344: Applied Linear Algebra
