About Me

I have worked in higher education since 2009, supporting college students through a variety of student affairs and academic services roles. As a first-generation college graduate, I am is passionate about student success and believe in the transformative power of higher education, mentorship and experiential learning to help students achieve their personal and professional goals.

Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, I have lived throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Washington and Mexico before relocating to Columbia in 2017. My professional experiences, coupled with my international studies, have shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives and student engagement.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the Saluda River with my labradoodle, Brooklyn, tackling home renovation projects with my partner, riding my motorcycle on sunny South Carolina days and managing my real estate investment portfolio through my LLC. I also serves as treasurer of my homeowner's association, enjoy being an amateur mechanic and am always eager to take on my next hands-on project.
