Biography
Amberly Osteen has more than 24 years of healthcare experience, with a diverse background spanning obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, primary care and internal medicine. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care and surgical procedures, orthopedic and cast application. She also has extensive experience teaching surgical technology and sterile clinical skills.
Throughout her career, Osteen has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including Surgical Technologist in Labor and Delivery, Clinical Supervisor and Manager of Orthopedics, and Practice Administrator for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine practices. She has worked closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and providers to improve patient care, operational effectiveness and clinical outcomes.
Osteen currently serves as Program Manager for the USC Brain Health Network. In this role, she focuses on provider and partner networking initiatives, oversees clinical operations, manages hiring and staff oversight, develops and improves workflows, drives strategic planning efforts and operational efficiencies across the network.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, from Western Governors University, as well as an Associate in Science in General Technology and a Diploma in Surgical Technology from Central Carolina Technical College. She also holds National Certification in Surgical Technology.
In addition to her healthcare leadership experience, Osteen has a passion for education and wellness. She has taught surgical technology and sterile clinical skills in technical college programs, instructed health and wellness and physical education courses for middle school students and taught aerobics and fitness classes.
Osteen is deeply passionate about health, wellness, fitness, nutrition and the science of the human body. She believes that healthy lifestyle choices, including proper nutrition and regular exercise, play a vital role in overall well-being and can significantly impact health outcomes.
Outside of work, Osteen enjoys spending time with her husband, four adult children and her new grandbaby. She loves being outdoors, staying active and spending time at the beach with family and friends.
