Making your gift online is a convenient and secure option that also helps reduce gift processing costs, which means more of the money raised goes where it is needed most. The University accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

To give by phone, please call 877-349-2106.

To mail your gift, print and complete a pledge form [pdf] to include with your check, credit card information, or money order. Please make checks payable to USC Foundations and include your gift designation in the memo line. Gifts without a designation will be applied to the Carolina Fund of the South Carolina Honors College and used toward areas of greatest need. Gifts should be mailed to:

Building a strong future

An endowment is a significant and lasting investment in the future of the College of HRSM that will support the college and the donor's desired gift purpose in perpetuity. Endowments may be funded with a single gift or over a period of time not to exceed five years, and donors can name the fund and specify the fund’s purpose, if desired. The fund may be created through the donation of cash, marketable securities or other liquid assets.

How do endowments work?

Endowment funds are managed to provide a permanent source of income to support the educational mission of the University. The endowment is invested in a purposeful and accountable manner in order to generate income that:

  • honors the donors’ intended purposes for their gift;
  • supports the operating budget of the institution; and,
  • is re-invested to protect the value of the endowment against inflation.

Please contact us to learn more about establishing an endowment fund.

You can give through stocks and securities, via your retirement plan, or as part of a will or living trust. The Office of Gift Planning can help review all your options and create a gift plan with which you're comfortable. Learn more about gift planning.

Your participation through the Family Fund makes an immediate impact. The university counts on annual gifts as the foundation for all other giving, and private support is the difference between being average and being excellent. As faculty and staff, you have the opportunity to enhance our professional development while also making a difference in the lives of students.
